The CareSens POP blood glucose meter kit measures blood glucose quickly and accurately. It automatically absorbs the small blood sample applied to the narrow edge of the strip. This blood glucose meter kit allows alternative site monitoring where fewer nerve endings exist to greatly reduce pain associated with drawing blood for testing. The CareSens POP blood glucose meter kit guarantees, with proper use, accurate blood glucose measurement regardless of sample location. When a sample is drawn from fingertip, forearm, palm, calf or thigh, the result are accurate. For accurate results, the code numbers on the CareSens POP blood glucose Meter and CareSens Test Strips must match. You must code your meter before using it for the first time and each time you open a new bottle of test strips. You must set the code number on the meter display to match the one on the test strip bottle. If the meter is not correctly coded, you will get inaccurate results. The CareSens Test Strips work with the CareSens Blood Glucose Meter Kit to quantitatively measure glucose in whole blood. The CareSens Test Strips are for self-testing outside the body (in vitro diagnostic use). Do not use the blood glucose meter kit system for the diagnosis or screening of diabets. The glucose in the blood sample mixes with special chemicals on the test strip where it produces a small electrical current. The CareSens Blood Glucose Meter Kit detects this electrical current and measures the amount of glucose in the blood sample.
